Well, hello there!

I’m a Neural engineer / Neuroscientist who works on neural oscillations and different ways of modulating them in the human brain 🧠

From improving auditory perception to induced states of consciousness, it’s all possible by altering neural oscillations underlying the process. I primarily achieve this using Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS), which applies either continuous electric (tACS) or magnetic (kTMP) fields to the scalp and can directly alter the underlying neural firing patterns to modulate them to the desired state. I also work with other indirect modulation techniques, such as Neurofeedback and Stroboscopic stimulation. To neuroimage/see the when, where, and how strong these oscillations are, I use EEG (Electroencephalography) and fMRI (Functional magnetic resonance imaging or functional MRI).

I work on the full stack pipeline, from implementing and testing new hardware tools, designing and running experiments with human participants and modelling the experimental data to improve existing approaches.

Currently, I am a PhD student in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Toulouse (France).
